My name is Al and I’d be the guy you’d be talking with on the phone. I started my pro career working on engines at Midway Performance back in 1985 building and servicing various engines from drag, to circle track, to stock. I did all of the machining mods for the assembly of the engines – decking, crank grinding, porting, valve jobs, valve spring setup for cams, line honing blocks, resizing connecting rods.
In 1996, I started Advanced Machining Services to specialize in MX bikes and ATV’s, providing customers with a high degree of precision and professionalism with good reconditioning of cylinders, heads, and motors that would have an increased performance and durability at a fraction of the cost of new. Services included boring for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, porting and valve jobs, welding of aluminum, suspension, flowbench, and many other machine shop services.
In 2003, I dedicated all of my time to machining and engine work. I’m passionate about machining and it’s actually fun. I’m a small business and all of my work is done in house with attention to detail and customer service.

I've been dealing with Al for over 5 years and it's always a pleasure dealing with him he's extremely knowledgeable and reasonable with his prices. He doesn't play the bait-and-switch game he tells you upfront what everything's going to be. I've had numerous Motors done by him and so has many of my buddy's highly highly recommended Al. This is one of the Motors he did for me it's a 522 fully ported head custom grind webcam full Billet clutch big carb motor made pretty good power.
