Valve Job Kits
All valve job kits include:
- Disassembly of valves
- Bead blast ports and exterior (where applicable)
- Inspection of spring pressure at installed height
- Check valve guide wear
- Clean, inspect and cut your valves (where applicable)
- Multi angle, single cut on the valve seats
- Clean all gasket surfaces
- Lap head gasket surface
- Wash for assembly
- Install new valve stem seals
- Assemble valves and springs
- Valve lash setup
Any cam or rocker removal/assembly can and will be done at your request for an extra fee only after we receive your go ahead with the work.
When you receiving your head, as mentioned above, it will only need the gasket surfaces wiped down with a clean cloth to be ready for assembly.

Having to tow your 1 or 2-year-old machine to bump start it? Taking it back to the dealer for repairs? Getting it back, and having it only run for a hand full of hours before you run into the same situation again?
This is becoming a common problem. What’s happening is the newer machines are using the lightweight titanium valves, good for performance (less valve train weight) but longevity is sacrificed. If you have to reset the valve lash every few hours, this is an indicator that your valves are cupping and you need a valve job.
